Troubleshooting

This section covers the most frequently encountered issues with Vetilog and their solutions. Consult it before contacting support.

Vaccination alerts are not being sent

  1. Check that alerts are enabled in Administration โ†’ Configuration โ†’ Vaccination Alerts
  2. Check that the Dolibarr cronjob is active (Configuration โ†’ Task Scheduler)
  3. Check that cabinetvet_vaccination_alert_* email templates are present and active
  4. Check Dolibarr email configuration (Configuration โ†’ Email/SMTP)

Vaccination plans are empty after installation

  1. Go to Administration โ†’ Configuration โ†’ Tools
  2. Click "Create default vaccination items"
  3. Items for Puppy, Kitten, Ferret and Rabbit plans are recreated

Automatic billing does not work

  1. Veterinary acts must be created in the dictionary: Administration โ†’ Veterinary Dictionaries
  2. Click "Generate Dolibarr services" to create the corresponding VET-* products
  3. Check that each act has an associated service in Dolibarr

A user does not have access to certain features

  1. Go to Configuration โ†’ Users โ†’ [User] โ†’ Permissions
  2. Check and adjust CabinetVet permissions
  3. The user must log out then log back in

The web portal is not working

  1. Check that the web portal is enabled in Administration โ†’ Configuration โ†’ Web Portal
  2. Check that the Dolibarr web portal module is enabled
  3. Check that the owner has a web portal account created

Duplicates in dictionaries

  1. This issue can occur after a module update
  2. Go to Administration โ†’ Dictionaries and manually delete duplicates
  3. Or contact support with an export of the relevant dictionary

  • The module version (visible in Administration โ†’ About)
  • The exact error message
  • The steps to reproduce the problem
